Many visitors to the Kaiserstuhl and Tuniberg are nature lovers. Certain rules are important for friends of nature to preserve the special features:
-
Stay on the paths in nature reserves and take the opportunity to observe the plants and insects along the way.
-
Show consideration for each other, especially mountain bikers and hikers.
-
Of course, never observe bee-eaters and hoopoes at their nests or wait there with a camera - this disturbs the magnificent animals in their breeding business.
-
Quarries in nature reserves may not be visited off the beaten track; the Niederrotweiler quarry is only accessible between 1 August and 31 January.
-
Do not disturb the winegrower at work and do not walk cross-country through the vines.
